This
week students will be starting off with a review day on Monday and then the
students will have a Weathering, Erosion, and Soil test over 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, and
3.1 on Tuesday. Be looking to sign their Weathering, Erosion, and Soil Notes
Packet which will be due the day of the test. We will finish the last two day
of the week with an poster project over 3.2-3.5 which we will finish when we
return from Spring Break. A project rubric should be coming home Wednesday or
Thursday. Have some fun and much deserved relaxation!
What is Happening:
Monday: Students played a Baseball review game today to prepare for the Weathering test. The students worked really hard. Please don't for get to sign their notes packets which are due along with their vocabulary and extra practice packets tomorrow.
Tuesday: Students took their tests today over Weathering, Erosion, and Soil. Hopefully tests will be back before students leave for Spring Break, but I've told them they can feel free to check E-School + (see the "Parents" tab for the link) if I don't get them up by then.
Wednesday: Today we had Mrs. Tasset come in for half of the class and then we rolled out the rubrics for our Erosion team poster. We made notes and highlighted key details on the rubric and made sure everyone is set for tomorrow's note taking day.
Thursday: Students were given the entire class period to work on their PQR2ST+ notes for their erosion poster. I provided them with the headings and subheadings for their notes section as well as turned those headings and subheadings into questions the students are required to answer through their notes. I let them know that their note cards were required to be finished when we come back from Spring Break so that we may begin the poster. Enjoy your free time!!!
Friday: No School!!
