Science:
This week students will be:
- Completing a vocabulary choice board activity to preview their learning for the next unit
- Being the next unit by looking at the techniques scientists use to study the interior of the Earth through a lab and note-taking foldable.
Monday: Today we:
- Started a vocabulary choice board activity that students will complete in class to preview our next unit: Plate Tectonics.
- This activity will be due at the end of the hour tomorrow (October 8th)
Tuesday: Today we:
- Continued to work on a vocabulary choice board activity that students will complete in class to preview our next unit: Plate Tectonics.
- Students worked so hard that I gave them until first thing in class tomorrow in class to turn in their activity they have created.
Wednesday: Today we:
- Completed a note-taking strategy on a video over earthquakes
- We set up page 32 in our notebooks for our in-class activity tomorrow
Thursday: Today we:
- Looked at an activity which compared the inside of the Earth to a small film canister and took down observations.
- Set up PQR2ST+ notes on page 33 for tomorrow's note taking session.
Friday: Today we:
- Completed our PQR2ST+ notes on page 33 in our notebooks for Monday's in-class activity.
