Science:

We will conclude our Unit Weathering and Soil and begin our new unit over Fossils by doing the following:

• Complete the Weathering and Soil Unit Test on Tuesday, February 4^th.   
• Explain how fossils form.
• Identify the different kinds of fossils.
• Describe what fossils tell about organisms and environments of the past.

Monday: Today we:

• Completed our erosion posters in class. We finished the posters in class and then hung them in the hallway so that we could show off all of our hard work!

Tuesday: NO SCHOOL

• Because of the no-test policy on WINGS days students will complete a review day on Wednesday February 5th and then take the test on Thursday February 6th.

Wednesday: NO SCHOOL

Thursday: Today we:

• Completed the essay and short answer portion of our test. We will finish part two of the test on Monday February 10th.
• Completed a notebook check over unit 5 (notebook pages 58-66) to make sure our notebooks are caught up and complete for our next unit: fossils.

Friday: NO SCHOOL
