Science:
We will continue our Fossil Unit by doing the following:
- Discussing/practicing computer care and use in an eMINTS classroom.
- Completing an internet-based lesson on fossils (web quest) in which students assume the roles of an archaeologist, a paleontologist, and a geologist.
- Teams will collect information and organize it in a visual format to present the findings.

Tuesday:Today we:
- Completed our initial computer care lesson by looking at our computer use agreement and learning how to carry, store, power up/down, and log onto our new laptops.
- Computer use agreement forms are due tomorrow for the next lesson looking at how to use PowerPoint, Google, and other programs that will help us to be successful in science.
Wednesday: Today we:
- Completed a little practice on how to use google appropriately and safely to find images for our PowerPoint presentations about ourselves.
- We looked at the basics of PowerPoint and how it works, but due to the shortened classes we did not have time to get started on the project.
- We will finish our PowerPoint practice tomorrow.
