Science:
We will begin our Weather Unit by doing the following:

- Describe how water moves to and from the atmosphere during the water cycle.
- Describe humidity and how it is measured.
- Identify the common types of precipitation.
- Describe floods and droughts and their effects.
Homeroom: MAP resumes Tuesday April 29th. I am so honored to have such hard working students!
Monday: Today we:
- Completed a notebook check to make sure that our notebooks are the best that they can possibly be and so that they show off our learning from this year.
- Watched a Brainpop over climate and weather to prepare for our first lesson of the new unit (5.1).
Tuesday: Today we:
- Started a first set of the notes for 5.1 "What Causes Climate?" looking at the factor of temperature and how it relates to climate.
Wednesday: Today we:
- Continued our notes for 5.1 "What Causes Climate?" looking at the factor of temperature and how it relates to climate. We then started looking at precipitation and will finish 5.1 notes and complete an activity tomorrow.
Thursday: Today we:
- Completed our notes for 5.1 "What Causes Climate?" and had a class discussion to tie it all together. We then started an activity looking at some common climates found in the world using a climograph.
Friday: Today we:
- Completed our graphic organizer using our knowledge from 5.1 to tie all of our thinking together. Monday will bring 4.1 and 4.3, looking at precipitation in the atmosphere.
