Science:
This week students will continue our unit on The Atmosphere by
doing the following:
- Identify the four main layers of the atmosphere and explain their characteristics.
- Identify in what form the energy travels from the sun to Earth.
- Explain what happens to the sun’s energy in the atmosphere and at Earth’s surface.
Advance Planning: Study guides for the atmosphere test will be sent home on Tuesday, April 8th. The test is scheduled for Friday, April 18th.

Monday: Today we:
- Completed our Mind Map activity and reviewed our learning from last week.
- Started a Layers of the Atmosphere foldable to help us learn more about the division of the gases in our atmosphere based on temperature, altitude, and benefit for Earth.
Tuesday: Today we:

Wednesday: Today we:
- Took a work day to catch up on our Science Notebooks, foldables, and to also work on our study guides so that we would be prepared for our test next Friday the 18th.
- Wrapped up our learning on layers of the atmosphere with a brainpop and a group activity of the student's choice. We will be moving on to 3.4 on Monday for the last section before our test.
