Science:
This week students will be:
- Studying Alfred Wegener’s theory of Continental Drift though the creation of Pangaea, an ancient super-continent.
- Exploring how the Earth is constantly recycling Earth’s crust through sea-floor spreading and deep-ocean trenches
- Analyzing the theory of Plate Tectonics, or the idea that all of Earth’s crust is made of tectonic plates which float on top of the Earth’s mantle
Homeroom: Fall pictures came home today!
Monday: Today we:
- Received our study guide for our test next week.
- Received back our States of Matter, Heat, and Electricity test to be signed and returned by Thursday the 24th.
- Completed notes on page 37 of our science notebooks (3.1 notes) and prepared to put together a "Pangaea Puzzle" tomorrow.
