Science:
We will begin our Weather Unit by doing the following:
- Describe how water moves to and from the atmosphere during the water cycle.
- Describe humidity and how it is measured.
- Identify the common types of precipitation.
- Describe floods and droughts and their effects.

Monday: Today we:
- Completed our Climate graphic organizer in class allowing us to process the information that we have learned in 5.1.
- Started new notes by reviewing the water cycle and discussing humidity (4.1).
- Watched a brainpop over humidity to reinforce our learning.
Tuesday: Today we:
- Completed a comprehension check using our Climate Mind Maps (graphic organizers) to review our past learning.
- Read the first half of 4.3 over precipitation and filled in our notes. We will finish these notes and begin a foldable tomorrow.
Wednesday: Today we:
- Discussed the five major types of precipitation and how they are formed (finished our notes).
- Completed the first half of our precipitation foldable on page 81 in our science notebooks.
Thursday: Today we:
- Discussed how humans handle floods and droughts (finished our notes).
- Completed the second half of our precipitation foldable on page 81 in our science notebooks.
Friday: Today we:
- Completed a comprehension check over our unit so far.
- Completed PQR2ST+ notes over the first two pages of 4.4 air masses.
